Beneath the Moon and the Stars is released on October 18th, the gorgeous new debut from Amelia Thorne.

Here’s the blurb:

Beneath the MoonHome, sweet home…

Joy Cartier has been to some of the most beautiful places in the world – but none of them have ever felt like home. So moving into a tiny cottage in the idyllic village of Bramble Hill, walking distance from her childhood home, seems like the perfect plan.
That is, until she gets there. The surly inhabitants of Britain’s Friendliest Village are anything but welcoming. Even her neighbour, reclusive Hollywood star Finn Mackenzie, takes one look at her and walks in the other direction.
But when the village animosity steps up a gear, it is the infuriatingly brooding Finn who keeps coming to her rescue. Slowly Joy begins to realise that maybe a happy home isn’t about where you live, but who you’re with…

Veronica Summer is stuck in the dream job from hell.

The spunky New York reporter is offered the network’s morning anchor position, but she doesn’t want it because she’s a night person. Then the network plays a trump card, promising her the evening anchor chair in three years. So the fiery redhead takes the plunge, with the ultimate gig waiting down the road.

Problem is, that road is filled with two am wake-up calls and the only social life she has is one with bats and raccoons. She quickly realizes she’ll never survive the grind and decides the only way out is to get fired by being her snarky self on live television.

And the ratings skyrocket.

Veronica becomes the nation’s It Girl, so the network makes her a celebrity contestant on its most popular nighttime dance competition show, Dance Off. While her journalistic credibility is shot to hell by the show’s skimpy costumes, she’s thrown into close contact with two incredibly attractive men; her dance partner and the show’s sarcastic British judge.

And she soon discovers that love is the ultimate gig.

September wrap up post

Welcome to my September wrap up post! I can’t believe we are already in October and Halloween and even Christmas displays are all over the place already! This time of the year, when Autumn really starts, is when I tend to read easy loving, lovable and HEA books. With a cup of hot chocolate, or any other hot drink, the rain coming down and the wind blowing the leaves off the tree ^_^ surrounded by my reading light and candles. Oh yeaaaaaaaah!

I have read quite a lot this month, I had a lot of time to kill in September after work and in weekends. And it has paid off! I found a few new authors I definitely keep an eye out for, found a new series I absolutely love (Yes I am looking at you Nalini Singh) and I love the privilege of NetGalley.

Go check out below my read books, my reviewed books, cover reveals and blog tours I have participated in! Have fun and as always let me know in the comments what you’ve read in September. ^_^

Review: Twitter Girl – Nic Tatano

TwitterGirl Twitter Girl – Nic Tatano
Publisher: Harper Impulse
Release date: 18th September 2014
Genre: Rom Com

Meet America’s Tweet-Heart.

She’s network reporter Cassidy Shea, better known as @TwitterGirl, with more than a million followers thanks to her sarcastic tweets. One hundred forty characters that can take anyone down a notch.

But while brevity may be the soul of wit, it can also get you fired.

When a controversial tweet goes viral the snarky redhead finds herself locked out of the career she loves… and watches her boyfriend take a hike.

Alas, no industry values sarcasm more than politics, and Cassidy becomes a marketable commodity for Presidential candidate Will Becker, a squeaky-clean, stone cold lock to be the next occupant of the White House. This candidate is unlike any other; he’s the country’s most eligible bachelor. He’s also looking for a running mate, and we’re not talking about a Vice President.

Twitter Girl has caught his eye.

Cassidy finds herself swept up in a whirlwind romance that turns her into the next Jackie Kennedy and becomes the favorite to be the next First Lady. The country can’t get enough of America’s First Couple… will Cassidy and Will Becker bring back Camelot?

But an anonymous tip triggers her journalistic curiosity. Is Will Becker all that he seems? The search for the answer teaches Cassidy the meaning of love.

Blog Tour & Top Ten List: Operation Owl

Welcome to the Blog Tour and Top Ten List of Operation Owl by Tara Quan! Click here for the rest of the Tour Schedule.

OO Banner

I absolutely loved hosting Tara Quan on my blog – as we have the same love in Author and the same top 10 list of book boyfriends, not necessarily in the right order. (With 1 exception: Jamie Fraser is on a #1 spot for me!)
Go and read below Tara’s Top 10 list. Enjoy!! ^_^

Tara Quan’s Top 10 Book Boyfriends

My fangirl side is about to come out in full force.

  1. Jason – Archangel’s Storm by Nalini Singh (I know I write contemporary romantic comedies, but I have a soft spot for broody angels.)
  2. Dmitri – Archangel’s Blade by Nalini Singh (Okay, broody vampires as well.)
  3. Raphael – Angel’s Blood by Nalini Singh (And all-powerful archangels).
  4. Janvier – Angel’s Pawn by Nalini Singh (Canjun vampire also…)
  5. Illium – TBD by Nalini Singh (I’m calling dibs right now for when his book comes out)
  6. Richard Addison – Samantha Jellicoe series by Suzanne Enoch (He’s a billionaire with a British accent, and going with another Nalini Singh hero might be overkill)
  7. Kaleb – Heart of Obsidian by Nalini Singh (I gave you guys a break, didn’t I?)
  8. Judd – Caressed by Ice by Nalini Singh (Since he was my favorite Psy until Kaleb came around.)
  9. Hawke – Kiss of Snow by Nalini Singh (Wolf-shifter alpha with a protective streak. You can’t go wrong.)
  10. Vaughn – Visions of Heat by Nalini Singh (Jaguar-shifter with a really protective streak. Need I say more?)

So can anyone guess who my favorite author is?
