Sophia Nelson returns to her hometown in Yorkshire, England to begin a new job as tour guide at Heaton Abbey House. There, she meets the reclusive Thomas, Baron Heaton, a lonely workaholic.
Despite having a rule never to become involved with her boss, Sophia can’t deny how she finds him incredibly attractive.
When she overhears the secret surrounding his parentage, she is torn. But is it the attraction or the fear of opening a Pandora’s box that makes her keep quiet about it?
How long can she stay at the abbey knowing what she does?

Yessss I have been 3 days late for this, but my blog is now 1 year and 3 days old! I can’t believe I have lasted this long and how I enjoy keeping track of my blog. My passion of reading has definitely grown and I feel I have grown as a blogger as well ^_^
You can read my 1st blog post here. I can remember I was so scared in starting this up, will my blog be read by others, will I be able to keep track of it, be able to post quite regular and mostly will I still enjoy doing this after a couple of months. And I can safely say that all of the above is true!
I have gained already wonderful friends through blogging, having made contact with some of the best and awesome authors (Yes looking at you Nalini Singh, Claudia Connor, Melissa Foster and many more). I am part of several blog tour companies, such as Brook Cottage Books and Xpresso Book tours and a few more. I have such admiration for them, all the hard work they do to promote the authors and books, it is amazing to be part of this community.
Further I hope that in March I will change my website from missbookeater.wordpress.com to missbookeater.co.uk, so basically I want to change to a self-hosted WordPress website to enable a bit more features like Java and be able to use WordPress plugins for my reviews.
Once that changeover has been done, I will be hosting another giveaway.
Lastly I want to thank all my followers, I am truly humbled you are reading and following my blog – it does mean the world to me! You’re the best!
Lots of love,
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my followers and readers of my blog! You have no idea how happy it makes me that people are actually reading my ramblings ^_^
How was your Christmas? Did you got spoilt with some presents? Let me know!
We had quite a few busy days with Christmas and I decided I needed to give myself a week’s break from my blogging – which helped a lot! I have got some ideas in my head of what I want to do with my blog over the next year, but I have to see how to combine this with work and courses I do as well.
I had to work till 24th December, and on Christmas Eve we drove up to North Wales to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day there (It is roughly about a 5hr drive). On Christmas Day in the evening we decided to drive back, it was a good decision overall so we could have our own Christmas Day on Boxing Day, but there was also lots of snow on the roads on Boxing Day. So it was all in all a very good decision! And now I am sitting and typing this with a huge sore throat and not feeling 100% but I really wanted to post something.
I think I have been spoiled book wise with Christmas this year. I have received from my husband The Hobbit and from my manager at work I received Hogwarts Library set with Quidditch Through the Ages, The Tales of Beedle the Bard and Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them!
Look at these book goodies! I am sooo pleased with these!!
What are you currently reading this holiday? I am currently on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets! ^_^
Have you received any books for Christmas? Let me know in the comments below!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I thought I would try out a new feature for my blog – my books read in the previous month! Next month I will also add ‘books bought’ and ‘books received’. But the latter was so much (check my post on book haul from a friend) that I decided to keep it at books read for this time ^_^
Even though I had a bit of a book slumber and besides it was mega busy at work I did managed to read a total of 6 books. A couple of reviews are already up and a couple are coming, but I will let you know about these below.
