BY MELISSA FOSTER

Fall in love with Sky Lacroux and Sawyer Bass in Seaside Nights, the fifth book in the Seaside Summers series!

Sky Lacroux has finally realized her dream and opened her own tattoo shop in Provincetown, Massachusetts. She’s happy as can be, renting a cottage in the Seaside community while renovations to her new apartment are being completed and preparing the shop for its grand opening. The only thing missing is the one thing she longs for, and has no control over—love.

Sawyer Bass, a professional boxer, plays his guitar to escape the painful reality of his father’s failing health and a recent health warning of his own. But when he spots a stunning brunette across the room, escaping reality goes out the door—and the beautiful woman becomes the focus of his next song—and maybe even the rest of his life.

When Sawyer walks into Sky’s tattoo shop and sees the woman from the bar—Sky—the chemistry between them is instant. Sawyer is everything Sky could ever hope for in a man. He’s honest, loving, sensitive, and potently virile—but boxing goes against everything Sky believes in. The closer they become, the more she realizes that her alpha boxer is waging his own emotional battle—only the battle she thinks he’s waging isn’t the one that threatens to tear them apart.

In New York Times Bestselling author Nalini Singh’s newest contemporary romance, passion ignites between a gorgeous, sinfully sexy man who built himself up from nothing and a shy woman who has a terrible secret in her past…

Wealthy businessman Gabriel Bishop rules the boardroom with the same determination and ruthlessness that made him a rock star on the rugby field. He knows what he wants, and he’ll go after it no-holds-barred.

And what he wants is Charlotte Baird.

Charlotte knows she’s a mouse. Emotionally scarred and painfully shy, she just wants to do her job and remain as invisible as possible. But the new CEO—a brilliant, broad-shouldered T-Rex of a man who growls and storms through the office, leaving carnage in his wake—clearly has other plans. Plans that may be equal parts business and bedroom.

If Charlotte intends to survive this battle of wits and hearts, the mouse will have to learn to wrangle the T-Rex. Game on.

Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling

Goblet of Fire This is the pivotal fourth novel in the seven part tale of Harry Potter’s training as a wizard and his coming of age. Harry wants to get away from the pernicious Dursleys and go to the International Quidditch Cup with Hermione, Ron, and the Weasleys. He wants to dream about Cho Chang, his crush (and maybe do more than dream). He wants to find out about the mysterious event that’s supposed to take place at the Hogwarts this year, an event involving two other rival schools of magic, and a competition that hasn’t happened in a hundred years. He wants to be a normal, fourteen year old wizard. Unfortunately for Harry Potter, he’s not normal – even by wizarding standards.

And in his case, different can be deadly.

My thoughts

Yes I have been on a Binge Reading session with Harry Potter just before Christmas and I am loving it! It has been so many years I have read these books and Goblet of Fire felt familiar but yet so new for me to read! I am loving Hermoine more in here, with her stand for the House-Elves – I completely forgot about S.P.E.W. or lovingly referred to by Ron and Harry as SPEW.
The interaction between Ron and Hermoine is even better here as normal, I always said they liked each other from the beginning and it is plainly clear in this book for me that there is a mutual attraction, but will they act on it? Noooo because they are silly acting little kids ^_^ hehe exactly how kids of their age would behave in school.

Harry thought he was loving his time at Hogwarts, but when his name mysteriously appears in the Goblet of Fire and he needs to compete as the fourth champion, but second for Hogwarts, is were the trouble begins! No one but Hermoine, Dumbledore and Hagrid believes that Harry hasn’t put his name into the goblet. This makes for some hilarious but awkward moments between Harry and Ron. We also glimpse and read a lot about Cedric, one of the other contestants. I love Cedric and he was very much a Hufflepuf but also showed a lot of bravery to do Hogwarts and Gryffindor proud!
Of course I suspected Moody from the beginning, and not only because I can dream the films by now, but just the way he behaved.
It is lovely to read the interaction between the different schools and we also come in contact with Rita Skeeter – the highly annoying writer for The Daily Prophet.

I was full of different emotions reading this book and I actually liked Snape better in the books then in all the films – of course you can give more background in the books and you can do more with a book then in the film. But nevertheless I still love both!
As there can be more info in the book, I loved reading how the Twins, Fred and George, received the funding for their joke shop.

I will be onto Book five after writing this review – even though I will be cutting my time short into reading books I have to read for a review, but guess you can say I am in a Harry Potter book hangover and the only way to cure that right now is to keep reading!

If you thought Harry & Suzie’s life couldn’t get anymore sweepingly romantic than Harry asking her to marry him at the end of One Hundred Proposals – think again!

It’s Christmas in a snow-kissed London, and the.PerfectProposal.com have vowed to carry out one hundred proposals in December. But one hundred deliciously Christmassy proposals later they find themselves asking if everything is still perfect in their own relationship….

My thoughts

I loved coming back to the story of Harry and Suzie! They managed to steal a piece of my heart and wedge themselves in there forever!
We are coming back to the story where they are now engaged for a couple of months (I re-read One Hundred Proposals again just to read about his proposal) and Suzie is ready to tie the knot!

But ofcourse their business the.perfectproposal.com has given themselves the challenge to do 100 proposals in December! Very ambitious but very doable as every proposal gets chocolates, champagne and flowers (heck even I wanted to recreate a proposal to my now husband for free champagne hehe).

Suzie is in charge of arranging the last proposal on New Years Eve in London and is very excited she’s getting free reign in it so she basically creates something she would really love!

I absolutely loved Harry’s devotion to Suzie and Suzie’s almost impatience with getting married! Loved reading about their best friends as well.

This is a perfect Christmas read and a perfect novella for One Hundred Proposals. I could only describe it as you had an amazing fantastic main course in one of your favourite restaurants (One Hundred Proposals) and you end the night with the best dessert ever (One Hundred Christmas Proposals) to compliment eachother!

I would recommend reading One Hundred Proposals first – just to get you an idea how they got where they are right now in life.

More Holly books please!
